Method#1 Hold on your phone power button for 10 seconds it will turn off and on (This method works for latest Android phones if it doesn't work for you try method 2)
Method#2 Hold on your phone power button for at most 3 seconds a new display of options pops up, click on the reboot option.

3. Stuck or Malfunctioning of the Volume button: Sometimes it could be the case of worn out or malfunctioning volume button. This case is best resolved by giving it to the phone specialist or repairer. But nevertheless we still have remedy for such cases.

  • Through the Accessibility menu; This is one of the wonderful inbuilt feature most Android device have. Quickly locate your phone settings and scroll to "Smart Assistant" or search for "Accessibility" in the search bar area in your settings.

You can solve this by uninstalling the Third-party app that causes it to misbehave and this can be done rebooting your phone in "Safe mode". Check if the situation persist, if it doesn't stop you might consider carrying your phone for a repair but if it doesn't misbehave when in safemode it's definitely an  app causing it to misbehave. You can begin uninstalling third party app you Install recently until the problem is no more.
7. When you Plug in an Earphone: By default when you plug in an earphone, the phone speaker automatically turns off. So you can check if an earphone is plugged in. But if it shows the symbol of an earphone at the top right corner of the screen when you did not plug your earphone you might consider taking your phone out to service the earphone jack.

8. User Settings: Most times this problem could result due to an oversight by the user. This situation can be resolved in your "Sound and Vibration" settings. Check No. 3 for solutions

9. Phone Equilizer Settings (Not available for all Android device): This settings may not be available for all Android device. But it's Available for most latest Infinix Mobile phones. You can scroll down your apps and search for DTS Sounds then:
Open and enable the Equilizer option
Click on the Equilizer option and adjust the graphic equilizer
 
10. When in DND mode: This is an acronym for Do not Disturb what this means is that whenever someone calls you you your phone will not even blink or make any sound but instead it redirects to your voicemail.

  3. Use a bowl to prevent the sound from going too far and also this can help amplify the sounds.
